One day when I was 19, I decided to take the plunge and fly to Romania alone for an AIESEC Global Volunteer program for 6 weeks. Since then I have not looked back. I spent 10 weeks in China for an internship where I climbed Huangshan by myself on my 21st birthday and thought I was getting kidnapped. I went to Kazakhstan for a semester exchange during the implosion of Corononavirus and nearly locked myself out of several countries. I started this blog to recount my misadventures as a female solo traveller, but more importantly to show my fellow high-anxiety wanderlusters that it is possible to solo travel and not die. Join me on the journey towards self-discovery!
